The businesses provide those same services that where once done by a caretaker that live on the premises. But now these concierge companies provide caretakers that come to a house or other premises that need specific jobs or tasks done.

Since many companies are offering these services and the caretaker is no longer living on the premises and you might get a different caretaker for each task or the next time you hire them for a project so the quality and speed of their work should be rather important.

Therefore the things I’d look for in a concierge company is:

1. Their response time – how fast do they answer my calls and how fast do that get the job or task done.
2. What type of workmanship do they provide – is the quality of their work good or do I have to redo the same task they were paid to do.
3. Do the go above the call of duty – are they willing to putt a little more effort into the work they are doing and provide you with something of value that is better than what you intent for the cost.
