| Ward Holverson
Ward graduated from Oregon State University with a Bachelors Degree in Exercise and Sports Science with an option in Fitness Program Management. He has been working in the fitness industry for over 8 years the last 2 1/2 with Fitness Together. Ward was also a FIT instructor certified through OSU. Since then he has received an APEX certification as well as getting certified through Fitness Together. Ward is always looking to learn something new to help his clients reach their goals and will continue to pursue more certifications to that end.
Ward is especially interested in working with people with physical limitations. Whether it is a recent ACL injury, the onset of osteoporosis or a shoulder problem, Ward works with all types of limitations. Getting clients to their goals regardless of past or recent injuries is what drives him. He is also very focused on helping his clients lose weight safely and effectively.
When not at work you can often find him lifting weights or running. He also enjoys hiking whenever the opportunity presents itself. Ward played baseball from little league up to eventually playing Junior College baseball. “If not exercising then I’m probably watching ESPN or playing my guitar”. |

Emily Guindon
Emily graduated from Portland State University with a BS in Health Education in 2006 and went on to get her STOTT Pilates certification the same year. Since then, she has also become certified as a Health & Fitness Specialist through the American College of Sports medicine. She has been working in the fitness industry for about nine years as a group exercise instructor and personal trainer.
In her free time, Emily enjoys music, movies, traveling, and hanging out with friends and family. She is also an animal lover and an outdoor enthusiast. In addition to working out at the gym, she likes exploring different types of movement including yoga, argentine tango, kickboxing, and capoeira. Recently, she has also gotten back into horseback riding.

Derek Eilertson
Derek graduated from Portland State University with a B.S. in Physical Activity and Exercise Science. Derek also received his certification through the American College of Sports Medicine as a Health Fitness Specialist. He has been in the training industry for over seven years and has been a personal trainer for two. Derek is always looking to learn something new and exciting that he can bring to his clients lives to help them achieve their goals and maintain an overall healthy lifestyle.
Derek loves to work with all kinds of people. People who are looking to recover from an injury or people who are just trying to get back into shape, he loves to work with them all. His passion for helping is what began his path in the fitness industry and his passion is constantly growing and expanding.
When not working or working out you can find him at home with his loved ones or spending time with his animals. They both keep him very active and full of energy which he takes into work with him every day.

Katie Lewis
Katie has recently moved to Portland from Wyoming where she earned her B.S. in Kinesiology and Health Promotion at the University of Wyoming last May. She is also a Certified Personal Trainer through the American College of Sports Medicine.
Katie is passionate about helping others achieve their fitness and health goals through fun, challenging, and individualized programs.
Katie enjoys playing tennis, hiking, traveling, yoga, cross country skiing, running, photography, and spending time with friends and family. “I look forward to inspiring clients and will be dedicated every step of the way to help create an optimum level of fitness.” |

George Myers
George graduated from Portland State University in December 2009 with a B.S in Health Education and Psychology. George also holds a personal Trainer Certification from the AFAA. He has been working as a Personal Trainer for three years, spent time working as a strength and conditioning coach at Franklin High School, and is constantly exploring different kinds of alternative therapy for chronic injuries and limitations.
Along with lifting really heavy weights and biking George spends his time becoming a faster and smarter distance runner with his best training partner and wife Megan. When training is over he is often found gardening or watching the Food Network.
